I am a California state licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold a master's degree
in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, with specialized training in both
child and adolescent therapy and couples and family therapy. I have worked in the Bay area,
helping individuals, couples, and families in need since 1998. I have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, residential group homes, and non-profit community counseling agencies. I have managed and directed counseling and visitation programs, facilitated children's social skills and trauma groups, provided clinical supervision to interns, and taught parent-education workshops on topics such as sibling rivalry, alternative families, and positive discipline. My current practice centers on helping children and adults cope with difficulties such as family conflict, divorce, trauma and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, as well as relationship, parenting and childhood behavior issues.
